Bishop C. C. Berry, Jr.
Presiding Bishop
As the Spiritual leader and servant of our church for over 50+ years, Bishop Berry has dedicated his life to preaching and teaching God’s Word to all, communicating the vision of God for the church, developing and coordinating the ministry so that it effectively meets the spiritual, social and physical needs of members and the community. Bishop Berry leads the Deacon and Trustee Board in setting church policy and programs that are grounded in biblical principles.
As the chief executive officer, Bishop Berry oversees a church campus that houses our family life center, a daycare, home health care agency, several rental properties and other parcels of land. Bishop has the enormous task of ensuring the church’s financial health and operational well being, which includes seeking monetary donations and in-kind resources, and maintaining the appropriate facilities and staff who are committed to Christ and the vision of the church.
Bishop Berry is married to 1st Lady Sis. Billie Berry, his life-long partner and co-laborer in the ministry. They are the Proud Parents of seven kids, Linda, Calvin, Steve, Jackie, Andrew (A.J.) Cynthia and Wendell as well as being Very Proud of a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren alike.

Bishop Jerry Burley
1st Vice-Bishop
Bishop Jerry Burley was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Living God in 1981. He has pastored churches in Seven Oaks, Texas, Brookeland, Texas, and Cleveland, Texas. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of The Church of the Living God #28 in Houston, Texas. He has been in this position since 1997. He also holds the position of 1st Vice Bishop in The General Assembly Church of the Living God. Bishop Burley has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree.
Bishop Burley is married to his wife Sandra. She is an active member in the Church. The focus of their ministry is to work at “Changing the World One Person at a Time.” The pastor believes that we must be open to the move of the Holy Spirit as He reveals Himself in the lives of those that come to the church. We must ever be aware that we are only servants for the Master who is Jesus Christ.

Bishop Eddie Reddic is a native of Houston and graduated from the University of Houston. His wife, Eldress Louisa Reddic is an ordained minister. They are parents of four children and one grandchild. Pastor Bishop Reddic was in the music ministry for 8 years before his calling to the preaching ministry and has been pastor of Williams Chapel for 20 years. He continues to be active in the music ministry as a recording artist and has participated in college campus, television and radio ministry. He is presently a recording studio owner and producer. Pastor Bishop Reddic is a member and a guitarist of the Southwest Regional Music Workshop.

Minister of Education
Pastor Jones serves as the Minister of Education for the General Assembly Church of the Living God and is the organizing pastor of Baxter Street COTLGPGT since 1992. He is a graduate of Baptist Missionary Associational Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, TX (Magna Cum Laude) and received a Doctor of Divinity from Shreveport Bible College.

Elder Riggins has a B.A. in Education and a Masters In Counseling and School Administration. He is a certified Educator, Counselor, and School Administrator. Elder Riggins is also a published author of 5 publications. He is an outstanding teacher and mentor to all, not just within our church, but to countless others as well. He is married to our First Lady, Sis. Janice Riggins and the father of 4 young men.

Dr. Vance Vaughn

Dr. Vance Vaughn has been a mathematics teacher (8 years), assistant principal (2 years), high school principal (8 years), and superintendent in Texas (6 years). Currently, he is associate professor of educational leadership, teaching in the principal and superintendent programs. His interest and research focus on public school finance, bond elections and mathematics leadership. His scholarly contributions include 17 published peer-reviewed journals & manuscripts, three book chapters, one textbook, 15 state and national presentations, and he serves on several department, college and university committees.
